I’m Dawn Arseneau, a high school teacher, certified yoga instructor, and photographer with a mission: to help students and educators create more space for calm, curiosity, and self-expression in a noisy world.
As a classroom teacher, I’ve seen firsthand how stress, disconnection, and distraction impact learning. I know what it’s like to want more meaningful moments, but not always have the time or resources to make them happen. That’s why I create tools that blend structure with soul: resources that support mindfulness, creativity, and critical thinking while being practical and easy to use.
My teaching is grounded in yoga, mindfulness, and creative expression – disciplines that have shaped my own path and helped me guide others with compassion and clarity. Whether it’s leading teens through yoga flows, designing mindfulness trackers, or guiding creative writing prompts, I believe every student deserves the chance to reflect, reset, and express who they are.
Photography was my first doorway into mindfulness, and it continues to shape how I see the world. Through both images and teaching, I help students and educators notice the beauty around them—and within them.
Through my work, I support fellow teachers in making learning more human, more mindful, and more engaging. If you’re looking to help your students slow down, speak up, and stay grounded, I’d love to share tools that make it easier.
Let’s bring purpose, presence, and creativity into the classroom—together. Find and purchase resources here: Serene Teaching.
